MONTHLY MEETING OF THE IoTAA E5 START-UP AND INNOVATION WORKSTREAM

Workstream Mission:

The start-up innovation workstream of the IoT Alliance is focused on helping IoT start-ups succeed. This is achieved by understanding, promoting and helping resolve the challenges faced by IoT start-ups, and the opportunities presented. This includes driving the IoT innovation agenda and bringing start-ups and industry players together to solve real and present issues faced in Australia today.

Workstream Goals:

1.Help IoT start-ups succeed

4.Raise awareness of IoT start-ups

Erik will be talking about his startup journey with Connected Iot.

Heath Raftery, Head of Technology at NewieVentures

Heath will be giving a talk on “IoT: 2019 in review, 2020 in preview”. We will poke holes in the imaginary and highlight the significant trends to watch in the Internet of Things this year. Maybe then we can all spend less time deciphering make-believe acronyms and more time applying cool technology to meaningful problems!

Can the IoT navigate the privacy balance, will our homes and businesses know our needs before we do, and is space the final frontier for the Internet? Tune in, we've got some postulating to do
