The Trade Mission will focus on the Cyber Security and Technology ecosystem in Israel and why such a small country has such a profound influence on the Global Cyber Security and Technology industry.

 The week-long visit will include visits to Cyber Tech and technology Innovation companies, Universities, cultural experiences, networking events (including a reception at the Australian Ambassador’s residence) and visits to some of Israel’s most iconic tourist destinations, including the Old City of Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and Masada.

The IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) has launched a new Platform Selection Guideline to help Governments and companies choose among a huge array of available platform technology when starting their IoT projects or businesses.

The Guideline, created by an IoTAA Workstream chaired by Mr Geof Heydon, is designed to assist new IoT players confronted by more than 400 different IoT platforms now available to buyers.

It provides a ‘common language’ to facilitate discussions amongst the IoT community;

July 2018, IoTAA launched its Good Data Practice: A Guide for Business to Consumer IoT Services for Australia. The 20 page Guide comes out of a major collaborative effort by industry, consumer representatives and regulatory bodies to address consumer-related concerns about business to consumer IoT services.

The Guide deals with what industry players need to consider when supplying IoT devices and services to consumers.
